Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 22, 2026

X to Notion ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome extension.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

X to Notion operates entirely within your browser. The extension:

  • Does not collect any personal information
  • Does not track your browsing activity
  • Does not store any data on external servers
  • Does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • Does not share any information with third parties

2. How the Extension Works

When you use X to Notion to copy content from X (formerly Twitter):

  • The extension reads the content of the X page you are currently viewing
  • Content is processed locally in your browser
  • Formatted content is copied to your clipboard
  • No data is sent to any external server

All processing happens locally on your device. The content you copy remains solely on your clipboard until you paste it into Notion or another application.

3. Permissions

The extension requires certain browser permissions to function:

  • Active Tab: To read content from the current X/Twitter page when you click the extension
  • Clipboard Write: To copy the formatted content to your clipboard
  • Host Permissions (x.com, twitter.com): To access content on X/Twitter pages

These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality and not for any data collection purposes.

4. Data Storage

X to Notion does not store any data. We do not maintain databases, servers, or any form of persistent storage for user data. Your copied content exists only in your clipboard until you paste it or copy something else.

5. Third-Party Services

X to Notion does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The extension is completely standalone.

6. Children's Privacy

Our extension does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or the extension, please contact us through the Chrome Web Store listing or create an issue on our GitHub repository.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. You can uninstall the extension at any time through your browser's extension management page.
